I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your site this afternoon. Being of Scottish decent I am looking forward to one day visiting the beautiful land of my decendants. I will be sure to bring my fly rod and and array of my own tied flies for a challenge in your waters. I will be sure to visit the Caithness area and its beautiful waters. You have some of the most awe inspiring fish that I have to set eyes on. I will be sure to visit your site again and again to aquaint myself with the business of the day in your neck of the woods.

Many thanks Lesley for a great weeks tutoring and fishing. I have no hesitation in recommending you to others. Chris and I learnt so much. I was especially impressed in both your patience and humor in teaching her to cast. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the 4 days with you but I also hope we found a new friend. You will be glad to hear Chris went on to catch a further 6 fish. Our total catch for the two weeks was 64 wild brownies, of which 10 were retained for eating with the remainder safely returned. We will definately return to Caithness in the very near future. It is without doubt the best fishing experience I have had in the 16 years I have been angling for trout.

Tight lines.

Lovely well laid out website, it's very informative. I have read Lesley's Book "The Troutfishers Handbook" and find it very interesting in a straight forward manner, a book worth reading for anyone interested in catching wild brownies.

Leslie, I write on behalf of the Caledonian St.Andrew Angling Club to sincerely thank you for your very professional assistance which made our club's bi-annual outing so successful. The boat rotation over the three lochs and the fact that you personally provided transport was most appreciated. Best wishes for the remainder of the season. 11th June 2002. John McLean.

Super web site Lesley, always nice to see a trout 'on-line' (groan). We plan to fish a few more lochs around your way next season. By the way, my boys have never looked back since you taught them to cast properly and both send their regards. They say that you are far more patient than their grumpy old dad. :o)
