Its been tough on the rivers in March and April with very few salmon being taken. By late April the Forss has still to produce its first fish, Lesley unfortunately could not emulate her catch of 2006 as conditions varied between drought and spate and no salmon were seen never mind caught. There is better news from the lochs however with some excellent trout coming from Loch Calder where trout over 2lb have been caught frequently all in excellent condition. Mild conditions have helped considerably on all the lochs and it could well be a bumper May. Book your place now!
