Having had no success with 2 weeks of salmon angling on the River Forss in March this year Lesley finally landed a silver beauty on the 15th of September fishing a day rod in appalling gales and rain (what else?!). The fish was by no means huge but it was a fresh salmon nevertheless weighing in at 5.5lb. The fish was caught on a size 10 Lazy Mediator and was skilfully netted by fellow angler Mr David Martin who had earlier successfully landed a wonderful 14lber on a Cascade.
