A salmon at last!23 March 2009
After 2 weeks of fruitless cold and frustrating fishing Lesley finished her fortnight with a red letter day on the Forss netting 2 fresh salmon on Saturday 21st March. The larger fish weighed an exceptional 12lb matching Lesley`s best from the Forss and was caught in the Falls Pool on a small Ally`s varient wee double size 12 in low water. The smaller came from the Sea Pool on a Lazy Mediator. Scotland did not win their rugby match but Lesley salvaged a small amount of Scottish pride by netting the whopper at kick off time!
