Wales Visit24 June 2009
Lesley made a short but fruitful visit to North Wales to the Tal-y-llyn lake in Snowdonia to enjoy an excellent gathering of the International Womens Fly Fishing group. Staying at the lovely Tynycornel hotel on the shores of the lake group members enjoyed not only great crack but some fine fishing on both the River Severn and the lake itself. The rain came in abundance over the long weekend and Lesley, friend Barbara and Welsh wizard Nica `Pearls' Prichard MBE captured some fresh run sewin, Nica rightly bagging the best at a shade over 2lbs on an olive goldhead.
